Greatly minimizes tissue compressions due to sectioning. Gives brittle, difficult to cut tissues (such as fibroid tumors, blood-engorged tissues, thrombi, decalcified bone and cartilatge) an innate elasticity which produces excellent, wrinkle-free sections. Clearing is complete and without stainable residue.
